Adventure Zone Team Leader

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join OneRen as an Adventure Zone Team Leader at the brand-new  Active Adventure Zone within Lagoon Leisure Centre.  

This exciting £1 million investment is set to become one of Renfrewshire's premier family attractions, featuring an interactive Active Arena, soft play facilities, sensory spaces, toddler zones and dedicated party facilities. As Team Leader, you will play a key role in shaping the visitor experience, leading a team to deliver a safe, welcoming and exciting environment where children can play, explore and create lasting memories. 

You'll have the opportunity to inspire colleagues, support business growth and help establish the Adventure Zone as a must-visit destination for families across Renfrewshire and beyond. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Adventure Zone, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. 
• Supervise, support and motivate Adventure Zone Assistants and Party Hosts throughout each shift.  
• Coordinate and oversee birthday parties, holiday programmes, seasonal events and special activities. 
• Deliver exceptional customer service and professionally manage enquiries, feedback and complaints.
• Ensure all play and activity areas are safe, clean, welcoming and fully operational. 
• Monitor health and safety compliance, conduct inspections and support safeguarding responsibilities.  
• Process bookings, admissions and payments accurately while maintaining operational records. 
• Support visitor growth initiatives, service improvements and the ongoing development of the Adventure Zone experience.

• Experience working with children and delivering excellent customer service in a busy, customer-focused environment. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and support a team. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• The confidence to use initiative, solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced operational setting. 
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, safeguarding and inclusivity. 
• A positive, energetic and approachable attitude with a genuine passion for creating exceptional visitor experiences. 
• A desire to lead by example and contribute to an environment where children of all abilities feel welcome and supported.
