The Role

We are looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Communications Executive to join our Business Development team.

Reporting to the Brand & Communications Manager, you will support the day-to-day delivery of OneRen's public relations, media relations, marketing and internal communications activities. You'll help create engaging content, build positive relationships with media outlets, support internal communications, and contribute to campaigns that strengthen OneRen's reputation and reach.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be involved in a wide range of communications and marketing activities, including:

• Drafting press releases, media alerts and responses to media enquiries.
• Creating engaging content for social media, websites, blogs and newsletters.
• Supporting internal and external communications campaigns.
• Monitoring media coverage and social media engagement.
• Assisting with community management across social media platforms.
• Updating content on the OneRen website and intranet.
• Supporting event communications and media activity.
• Gathering and analysing communications performance data and preparing reports.
• Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to identify and share compelling stories.
• Supporting the wider Marketing and Communications Team with day-to-day activities.

About You

You will be a confident communicator with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.

We're looking for someone who has:

• An HND/HNC/SCQF qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in a communications, PR or marketing support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience creating content for digital channels and managing content through CMS platforms such as WordPress or SharePoint.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• The ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach, enthusiasm for learning and the confidence to take initiative.
• An understanding of communications performance metrics and reporting.
