The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Area Manager to lead and support operations across our visitor attraction venues. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences, driving operational performance, and leading high-performing teams.

Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, you will ensure the effective day-to-day management of attractions, maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, and commercial performance while supporting the strategic objectives of OneRen.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop teams across multiple visitor attraction sites.
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and visitor experiences.
• Oversee operational performance, including monitoring key objectives and targets.
• Manage resources effectively to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.
• Support income generation activities and contribute to commercial growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, company policies, and relevant legislation.
• Build positive relationships with partners, stakeholders and local communities.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of visitor attraction services.

About You

• Experience managing teams within a visitor attraction, hospitality, tourism, leisure or cultural environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing operational performance and service delivery.
• Good organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to customer excellence and continuous improvement.
• The ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Information

Interview Date: Week commencing 26th October 2026

This role may require flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with operational requirements.

You may be required to work at any locations across OneRen in accordance with the needs of the business.  

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland PVG check.
